Just got my first set of season tickets-
Hopefully I'm the precursor to many more sales this year for USU season football tickets.
I've never bought season tickets before, and would just peace meal them over the course of the year, mostly from KSL.
See you all in section 201 next year!

I have to imagine that sales are going to be very good this year.
So many positives going our way, including a very compelling schedule.

Well one reason is YBU comes to town, but the overall home schedule has other very good teams coming to Logan, 201 is a good section to sit in chairback easy restroom access. I hope you enjoy.

I haven't had season tickets for a few years but picked up a couple this year and plan on making the drive from Boise. Excited for some fall weekends in Cache Valley.

Ok, this is how we win. Driving from Boise?!?!MaverickAggie wrote: ↑April 12th, 2019, 9:54 pmI haven't had season tickets for a few years but picked up a couple this year and plan on making the drive from Boise. Excited for some fall weekends in Cache Valley.
I thought I was a trooper from Holladay.
Great stuff!
USU needs to win over more supporters from the Wasatch front in all seriousness.

Re: Just got my first set of season tickets-
Many tell me that the drive from the SLC airport is no big deal, and it should not stop schools from coming to USU for games, but if that is true then it should not be a problem for fans to travel either.
We do need aggie fans to come home from the front to watch the aggies play.

Re: Just got my first set of season tickets-
For football it’s nothing. It’s 6 games.... For basketball mid week games start to get annoying sometimes. The 9pm starts mid week are rough but we don’t have too many of those. Drive is much better when we are winning. Awesome teams and start times this last year! Next year I’m guessing the start times won’t be as good but good teams will make it worth it!oleblu111 wrote:Many tell me that the drive from the SLC airport is no big deal, and it should not stop schools from coming to USU for games, but if that is true then it should not be a problem for fans to travel either.

I tried adding another seat in the club area and it was difficult to find 4 seats together. An encouraging sign IMO.

Re: Just got my first set of season tickets-
We tried to improve our seat location in the club section and there are no open seats that are better than ours in section 3, on about the 35 yard line. They will probably come close to selling out the club section this year.Intermeddler wrote: ↑April 13th, 2019, 11:50 amI tried adding another seat in the club area and it was difficult to find 4 seats together. We are on the second row and quickly found out that higher is better in the club section.

Yeah we would have had to move to row 1 to get 4 together.dogie wrote: ↑April 13th, 2019, 12:49 pmWe tried to improve our seat location in the club section and there are no open seats that are better than ours in section 3, on about the 35 yard line. Hopefully the tickets are not only sold but used this year. We had a lot of open seats in our section last year.

Re: Just got my first set of season tickets-
Great. I bought mine on the front row in the club seats. Should have asked here before doing that......

The front row is fine for most games and you still get a lot of the perks but the heaters don't really help much down on the front row.

Re: Just got my first set of season tickets-
If this year is anything like the last few, you’ll be able to move back a few rows for most games. The only game last year where most seats were used (at least in our section) was Air Force. I imagine other than BYU and Boise you may be able to move if you need to.
Like Provo said, it’s not bad just miss direct heat from above and if there’s wind and rain you may get a little wet.

Re: Just got my first set of season tickets-
I just bought my first season tickets ever. From what I gathered from my interaction with Ben Peterson, I'm betting the club section is going to be sold out. I'll be coming down from Salem, Oregon, and hope to make it to three games this year. I managed to get two seats on row 4 in the club section. Is that far enough back to get the full benefit of the overhang and the heaters?

Re: Just got my first set of season tickets-
I think so...we sit on the top row in club but I think you’re in a good spot to enjoy the heaters. Which should come in handy this year!LKGates wrote: ↑April 13th, 2019, 7:17 pmI just bought my first season tickets ever. Re: Just got my first set of season tickets-
I agree. As I said, we are on row 2, and there really isn’t anything wrong with it or the front row. It’s just that I would move up if there were openings. But it’s just a minor issue.ProvoAggie wrote: ↑April 13th, 2019, 3:10 pmThe front row is fine for most games and you still get a lot of the perks but the heaters don't really help much down on the front row.

LK, Mike, Gary, and I are in 202, three rows above the concourse and not far from you, I think.LKGates wrote: ↑April 13th, 2019, 7:17 pmI just bought my first season tickets ever. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Re: Just got my first set of season tickets-
Is it better to be in section 1, with a bad angle of the jumbo tron, but back a few rows, or section 7, front row without as much from the heaters, but better view of the jumbo tron?
Sounds like a lot of demand for club seats this year.

Re: Just got my first set of season tickets-
Good question, guess it really depends on what is important to you. The heat is nice and we do have 3 games in November this season...we’re in the top row of 7, if it were me and especially if it were my wife we’d pick the higher seats in section 1, but our family spent too many years freezing on the east side so as soon as we got the chance we maximized our access to the heaters

Re: Just got my first set of season tickets-
Tickets are now for sale online. Looks like a lot of seats are already taken, but I don't have prior years perspective.
