Copper Hills Football
wins their playoff game, likely their first in school history unless they won a first round game at some point. Because of Fremont having to forfeit cause of covid.

Re: Copper Hills Football
Man that's sad, Copper Hills opened up in the mid-90's, and this is their first Div. championship? Man, that sucks. But good for them

Re: Copper Hills Football
Actually this would be the first time Copper Hills has made the 2nd round of the playoffs. They have made the playoffs 3 times since 2000, but haven't won a playoff game. Of course this year and last, everyone makes the playoffs, since the UHSAA changed to the RPI set up.GameFAQSAggie wrote: ↑October 20th, 2020, 1:53 pmwins their playoff game, likely their first in school history unless they won a first round game at some point. Yeah for COVID-19, the team gets another week of practice!

I see the Uintah Utes also forfeit because of covid. Bummer for the kids there and at Fremont.

Re: Copper Hills Football
Well at least they didn't have their entire seasons canceled. Here in Ca, they "postponed" FB until January, I highly doubt we'll see it though, covid continues unabated in most metro areas (sans San Diego) for the foreseeable future.

And to make matters worse, Uintah had a bad year, ranked 22 out of 22. Maybe they are happy to hang it up.GordoAggie wrote: ↑October 21st, 2020, 6:57 amI see the Uintah Utes also forfeit because of covid. Bummer for the kids there and at Fremont.

Re: Copper Hills Football
This. The difference between Fremont and Uintah is Uintah would have lost their game if they were able to play it, where as Fremont would have beaten Copper Hills, which is why Fremont's outbreak was a bigger deal.sstrasser wrote: ↑October 21st, 2020, 2:21 pmAnd to make matters worse, Uintah had a bad year, ranked 22 out of 22.
