Re: New Mexico predictions
Haha I worry that we are going to have a wake up call because they are usually athletic and long, and I think the press could cause problems. I hope I’m wrong! Our whole winning streak consists of wins against pretty bad teams.

Re: New Mexico predictions
Find whatever the Nevada-UNM scores were and add a 10-15 spread in USU’s favor.
Dead serious. So USU by 20 to 25.
I’ll say USU 75, UNM 55.

Neck and neck most of the game, but we inch ahead and win comfortably.

Re: New Mexico predictions
We get out to an early lead, Lobos bring it close leading to half time then come out hot in the second half and overtake us. We don't take lead until after 10 minutes in the second half.

So does this mean we are an additional 10 pts better vs Nevada than you were thinking?ineptimusprime wrote: ↑January 4th, 2021, 9:17 pmFind whatever the Nevada-UNM scores were and add a 10-15 spread in USU’s favor.

I’ll say USU 75, UNM 55.

New Mexico predictions
If someone told me Bean, Miller, Worster, and Ashworth would go a combined 4/18 shooting for 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists combined among them all, I would have guessed we lose. They all did do other things well though.
Hats off to Queta, Anderson, Anthony, and Bairstow for having some of their best games of the season.
Our defense was great most the night. Other than that 10 minute stretch in the second half we did a nice job taking care of the ball as well.

Re: New Mexico predictions
I am not sure that a perimeter weave is a great strategy against a zone. At times it looked like the Aggies were just standing in place but the weave continued.
I would have a hard time explaining the Lobo offensive strategy.

Re: New Mexico predictions
Does everyone remember how we wanted the unc transfer pg that is now starting for New Mexico? Man we got lucky with our freshman guards.
