I have gotten to know his family over the years, and they are great folks. His father played football for La. Tech. and his mother played basketball there.
He plays safety for Liberty High in Henderson, Nevada. I don’t know for sure, but there is a decent chance he is planning on a mission.
The Alofipos lived in North Salt Lake a few years and some of their kids went to Woods Cross. They now live in the Las Vegas area. The father, Selu, is a professional artist. https://instagram.com/selu_art_com?igshid=xqqyncsoj2az

2 things:
(1) stoked for this commit. A top 100 safety in the nation? Yes, please. I remember when our recruiting was a complete joke years ago.
(2) our graphic design folks are killing.

I taught Saco and some of his siblings when they lived in NSL. Kind people. Involved parents. You could tell they wanted their children to excel in all that they did.

He told me that although it would be cool playing with the dudes he knows at Lone Peak, it was nothing more than a rumor.

We have a few targets on LP. Keo Hansen probably goes PAC 12, but I think we've got a good shot at Connor Kelly.

Re: Saco Alofipo
I agree on Connor! Keo was one of the new staffs first in-state offers but beyond that I haven't heard much. I think he's let them know he has his sights set a little higher and we've started moving on to other opportunities. Keo would be great too though! Utah high school football is no longer a well kept secret.2004AG wrote: ↑May 14th, 2021, 11:03 amslcagg wrote: ↑May 14th, 2021, 10:48 amHe going to recruit our lone peak target to the good guys?aggies22 wrote: ↑May 14th, 2021, 10:47 amHe told me that although it would be cool playing with the dudes he knows at Lone Peak, it was nothing more than a rumor.
