10am Start
I really liked the day game, it was a tad early, but I wouldn't mind a few Saturday noon kickoffs.
Go Aggies!

I absolutely hated it. I left my house at 7 am and just got home (5pm). I will never go to another 10 am game.

I don't know if that was sarcasm, but wouldn't the time driving be about the same no matter what time the game was. I enjoyed the 10 am game. The weather was beautiful and I love getting home to enjoy my Saturday evening.

As someone that lives out of state and watches the games on tv…I actually prefer the evening games. Have all day to get my other stuff done.

Re: 10am Start
Haha Logan traffic was insane after the game. Logan traffic is already bad on Saturdays, usually worse than on a weekday. Add on an almost sold out game ending during Logan's busiest day and it was a madhouse.

Re: 10am Start
I decided last minute to come up and bought tickets last night. Got up at 5:30 this morning and just got home. It was a very long day and getting out of the was the worst I've ever seen.

Re: 10am Start
It was just odd...and the near sell-out made it worse getting out. But I'm happy with the crowd and I'll. I'll go to all the games!

This! And living on the east coast my kiddos are asleep before kickoff is kind of nice. I suppose I will prefer earlier games when they are old enough to care.

East coast as well. Morning, noon, night games, they're all fine with me. Though, the 10 pm start times are rough on me going into Sunday.LarryTheAggie wrote: ↑September 25th, 2021, 6:50 pmThis! Re: 10am Start
Being gone the entire day on a Saturday depletes more spousal goodwill than I have banked away. Honestly, I would rather have the 8pm kick and get home at 2 am.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑September 25th, 2021, 5:35 pmI don't know if that was sarcasm, but wouldn't the time driving be about the same no matter what time the game was. As others have mentioned, getting out of Logan was terrible. But 90% of that can be attributed to the asinine refusal to adjust traffic light patterns on GameDay. There is absolutely no reason the lights on 89 in Wellsville should be cycling every minute. Same goes for the two lights in Brigham City. Or syncing up the lights on main street. I truly feel like it is or will be a deterrent to Wasatch front Aggies coming to the game.
Since I'm ranting, WTF was going on with the concessions today? There were 2 registers open at the concessions on the West side. Same for the South side. I stood in line for a good part of an entire quarter before giving up and going back to my seat. Watched the entire game hot and thirsty instead of enjoying a cold Dr. Pepper in a souvenir cup!!!
Overall, one of the worst GameDay experiences I've had in a really long time. Game obviously contributed to that.
I get it. I'm getting old and grouchy. But if they have me wanting to stay home on GameDay, we are not going to be getting casual Wasatch front Aggie fans.

Re: 10am Start
I don't get the complaining about game times, especially for those not in Utah and a TV game. I remember first moving to Iowa in 1999. we couldn't hardly get game information, let alone a feed of any kind. I remember a bball game against Florida (or FSU?) that I found an audio feed of the game. It was scratchy and buffered.
today I got up and did some housework, checked the board, started mowing the lawn got about 1/2 done by kickoff. then at about 3 minutes left in the game I went out and finished the mowing, then went to dinner with a couple from church.
Had the team not had heads up asses, it would have been a great day.
I'm all for tv games, whenever they kickoff. #AggiesAllTheWay

Re: 10am Start
Us right coasters liked it. Other than bowl games I think it’s the first time I’ve seen a day game with the Aggies. Well, second as I recall a game last year or two where I saw snow on the ground in a day game in Maverik.
