Re: Peasley in the Portal
I always liked Peasley and thought he could have developed into a great QB here if given an honest chance. He is like other QBs that have come through here but didn't quite establish themselves for whatever reason - Colombi, Garretson, and Kennedy all come to mind.
Best of luck to Peasley. I will be cheering for him wherever he ends up.

God speed seems ironic since Peasley is one of fastest QBs there are.FloridaAggie13 wrote: ↑December 23rd, 2021, 5:09 pmGod Speed and good luck Andrew. Thank you thank you thank you for what you did as an Aggie! I'll be rooting for you.

Without Peasley tearing up AF in the second half, there is no MWC or LA Bowl.

Everyone is posting to Peasley as they he’ll actually see your thanks. It’s highly doubtful he sees it on here.
Why don’t we take our thanks to Twitter & actually tag him in it so he can actually feel the love?

Re: Peasley in the Portal
Great player. I love coach Anderson, but it was shameful the way he treated Peasley. An athlete like that should have been on the field for at least 25% of the plays (not necessarily under center). Probably to protect Bonner's ego- only thing that makes sense.

Re: Peasley in the Portal
You think Bonners ego couldn’t have handled seeing Peasley on the field? What evidence do uoi have for that? You didn’t watch him play at all it seems. It would’ve been ideal to have Peasley on the field for a running QB package, but we needed a viable backup and Peasley was it. I’ll defer to the guy that won us a MW championship and LA bowl over somebody that thought Scarver should be returning punts.OrangeCountyAggie wrote: ↑December 23rd, 2021, 5:47 pmGreat player. Hindsight being 20/20 Legas was the viable backup the whole time.

Re: Peasley in the Portal
I’m a little surprised by this just because it sounds like Bonner status is maybe uncertain about next year.
Re: Peasley in the Portal
Family sees it though! Never have wrote on here but have always looked through since 2018 and been a fan since day one. Truly will miss home games, spring game and tailgating at the Mav!
Thought he was crazy for turning down BSU and think he is crazy now for leaving. But being an Aggie turned out to be a great choice!
I think I can speak for the whole Peasley family that we will always be fans and thankful for USU

Re: Peasley in the Portal
Tell him thanks for me as well. I have always loved Peasley, he is a stud. I really super hope that he finds that golden opportunity to do what we all know he can. You know every time he was let out on the field I heard cheers. When I was sitting by Kendal Smith who is one of the all-time receiver Greats he and his Ex Aggied DB friend were super excited to see Peasly take the field. That's quite a compliment coming from a guy who played in the league. We will miss Peasly and hope he always feels welcome back because we aren't going to let him go, he will always be a great Aggie to us.Dpiece6 wrote: ↑December 23rd, 2021, 6:13 pmFamily sees it though! You can always tell he was a fan favorite! Any time he took the field, everyone cheered like crazy. He will be missed. Wish he'd stay, but I'll cheer for him anywhere he ends up. Once an Aggie, always an Aggie!

Re: Peasley in the Portal
Peasley starts this year if Bonner stays at Arky State. More often than not, it is just timing. Colombi starts in 2020 and probably 2021 if Wells stays.Yossarian wrote: ↑December 23rd, 2021, 5:11 pmI always liked Peasley and thought he could have developed into a great QB here if given an honest chance. Re: Peasley in the Portal
I mean Blake only turned the program into an 11-3 season and the greatest season i have witnessed. Certainly Blake is not perfect, but your comment is inconsiderate. Bonner led the team to the most TD's and passing yards as well as sacrificed his body for the fans enjoyment of seeing the Aggies win.OrangeCountyAggie wrote: ↑December 23rd, 2021, 5:47 pmGreat player. Re: Peasley in the Portal
Thank you for your post. Peasley will always be an Aggie in my mind. The way he handled himself through injury and adversity is to be commended. The team does not get where they are without his 2nd half performance against AF which is one of the great performances i have ever seen.Dpiece6 wrote: ↑December 23rd, 2021, 6:13 pmFamily sees it though! Re: Peasley in the Portal
Shameful? How? He got the same chance Bonner did in the beginning and Bonner edged him out and then went on to have a very similar season as Jordan Love did in 2018. In the end, Bonner's experience at Arky State where he had taken hundreds and hundreds of more game snaps than AP showed.OrangeCountyAggie wrote: ↑December 23rd, 2021, 5:47 pmGreat player. Where do you put Peasley? What receiver was he better than? What RB was he better than?
Peasley was fantastic and it's a shame for him it worked out this way because he's a good player. He will do very well wherever he goes.
