Just saw him, dressed, on the sidelines. However, Jordan is not dressed for this game.

Re: Ags on 2020 NFL rosters
Awesome for Galeai. I truly believe if we did not run the 4-3 defense last year and used him the same as we did in 2018 that he could have been drafted. I could be wrong but I generally I don't think teams dress their third string quarterbacks for games as they can only dress 53 players. Jordan will get his turn it will just take some time, similar to Rogers who didn't start for 2 or 3 years after he was drafted. You don't give a Player 13 to 14 million dollars all guaranteed and then not give him a chance at some point.IBleedAggieBlue wrote: ↑September 13th, 2020, 12:47 pmJust saw him, dressed, on the sidelines. Aggies in the NFL - KFack
This article (https://www.yahoo.com/sports/kyler-fack ... 44782.html) about Kyler Fackrell made it into my news feed and I wanted to share. I came here to post it to the pinned "Aggies in the NFL" thread and found that thread to be locked. Not sure why... We still have plenty of Aggies in the NFL and a decent amount of movement between teams that is hard to keep track of without that crowdsourced effort. Maybe relative neglect? I enjoyed perusing that thread to keep up on who is where and how they were doing.
Anyway, MODS...feel free to do whatever you think best with this thread. But I wanted to get this out there and maybe fan the flames of support for our NFL Aggies...KF in this case. Hope he tears it up in SD...GO CHARGERS (or more specifically, go KFack!)!!

Good for Fack! Seems like he is still learning and progressing. I would love to see him get that starting role this season.

Kyler Fackrell signs with Raiders
Raiders have a new defensive coordinator and will be a flexible 3-4 base team. Fackrell should get significant playing time.

Looks like DT's doing good work. Hopefully he can stick with someone along with Wright as he's been mentioned in other threads.

Re: Aggies in the NFL
53-man roster day in the NFL. I know OKAggie will be all over this in his contest thread. And I don't want to take away from that, but I also think/hope this information can find its way here too. Teams are in the process of updating their cut lists:
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl- ... -32-clubs/
Unfortunately, it looks like Derek Wright was let go by the Panthers. I had hoped he would stick there. Hopefully he showed out enough to find his way to another team, or at least a practice squad. We'll see.
In better news, Deven Thomkins is NOT on the current Buccaneers cut list, but five (5!!) other wide receivers are. Not in the clear quite yet, but I think things are looking good for DT to make the cut! In other DT news, Darwin Thompson is also safe (so far) with the Seahawks. Ive also seen no suggestion of movement with Vigil (Cardinals), Galeai (Packers), Fackrell (Raiders?), Love (Packers), Scales (Bears). Eberle was with the Packers too, at one point, but appears to have been cut. Any other updates? TIA...
Edit: Welp, this didn't age well. I must've jinxed it. Thompkins cut by Bucs (though in my defense it wasn't yet being reported by CBS Sports in their supposed running update link posted above). Disappointed but hope he (and DW find a soft landing place)...

Don't know if this has already been mentioned, but Fackrell landed with the Ravens. Sounds like practice squad for the time being.

Re: Aggies in the NFL
Tyler Larsen started for the Commanders this week and played well. He was replacing Nick Martin who had several bad snaps last week. Tyler helped the Commanders win the game.
They announced it was the first time Larsen had played since blowing out his Achilles tendon last year.

Purchased tickets for Packers-Saints game as graduation present for my oldest son. Didn't realize it was Jordan Love's debut game as starter. Fun to be there in person for it.

That’s awesome! Did you fly from Utah?
You get any comments about your hat? Went to a preseason game and had a few people say something about my aggie shirt.
Green Bay is only 2 hours from me. Hope to head up for the thurs night game this week.
Re: Aggies in the NFL
My son flew in from Utah, I flew in from Arizona. Not a single person said anything about my hat, I thought someone would make the connection. . . nope. Have fun Thursday! Such a great atmosphere!

Re: Aggies in the NFL
He’s got a shot at the record for most games with 17 or more tackles in a season. I think he had 19 in week one.
