I would not be surprised if we are the 22-23 San Diego State in this next season.
If you mean playing in the National Championship, I’d say extremely unlikely and I would be shocked. I think our staff and roster looks good on paper, but I think a conference championship is not likely. I think our athleticism and man to man defense will be better than last season. Can we play really well as a team? TBD
I don’t think we will be playing for a Natty, I do think we will be back in the tournament and will win a game and will have the talent/ability to win more.

Yeah, that seems to be everybody, including Martinez. Crazy amount of talent Sprinkle has here this quickly.

Yeah, me neither. I'm sure @aggies22 will figure out who it is and let us know.

Whoever he is, he looks short. Like 5'6" or thereabouts. Muggsy Webb or Spudd Bogues? I hope he's awesome or not a player, because he'd really hurt the average player height for our team.

Is the shorter guy a grad assistant or maybe a walk-on?

Curious who isn’t on scholarship seeing as there are 14 guys in that pic who I would think are on scholarship.

The mystery man looks like Xavier Bishop who played for Sprinkle at MSU. 5th year senior in '22. He retweeted the tweet.

Our average player height is still tall!

Martinez is probably the second tallest Costa Rican in the valley. We keep getting lots of international players..

Someones scholarship must be sponsored by some NIL deal.

Can't wait to see these guys play.

Me likey his highlights. His stats in a sixth man role on a solid Big 10 team should translate quite well. He’s pretty bouncy and could be our RaeQuan Battle.

Don’t know how good we’ll be yet, but this is going to be a very different Aggie squad from the past few years.

Assuming he doesn’t have to redshirt:

Would love to see the lineup at times of Darius, Ian, uduje, burres and osobor. Super skilled group out on the floor.

Martinez will probably sit next year as the is his second transfer. Is it possible he dose not practice with the team next year and therefore would not count as a roster spot for next season?

Wait, is it legal for ball handler to penetrate and go directly to the hoop? I thought there was a rule where he's supposed to stop in the lane and pick up his dribble.

He already used his one-time free transfer though, right? So this year, as a transfer, he can't be on scholarship? I think that's how the rule works.

Whatever method we used to get 14 scholarship players should be used one more time to pull Battle off of West Virginia’s team since their coaching situation is a mess.

You still count as a scholie while redshirting
He already used his one-time free transfer though, right? So this year, as a transfer, he can't be on scholarship? I think that's how the rule works.
He still counts as one if 13 so either he is someone else is not in scholarship ir we lost someone.
I'm betting he's walking on and redshirting.
This makes sense

Martinez is probably the second tallest Costa Rican in the valley. We keep getting lots of international players..

Someones scholarship must be sponsored by some NIL deal.

Can't wait to see these guys play.
Is this the beginning of 13 does not = 13
Martinez will probably sit next year as the is his second transfer. Is it possible he dose not practice with the team next year and therefore would not count as a roster spot for next season?

How about this theory, when the picture was taken he was on his “official” visit. What if he literally takes a year off( I don’t think he has a good case for an exemption.) and dose not enroll until next summer. I believe this would be a loophole. He would have to work out on his own, probably move home or move in with a friend somewhere.

It seems odd that he would want to possibly sit out a year at USU and be a walk on before going on scholarship for the season after next.. It seems as though some school would have offered him a scholarship to redshirt this upcoming year if his exemption is not granted.
