If you mean playing in the National Championship, I’d say extremely unlikely and I would be shocked. I think our staff and roster looks good on paper, but I think a conference championship is not likely. I think our athleticism and man to man defense will be better than last season. Can we play really well as a team? TBD

I don’t think we will be playing for a Natty, I do think we will be back in the tournament and will win a game and will have the talent/ability to win more.

Any answer to why we have room for him?

Whatever method we used to get 14 scholarship players should be used one more time to pull Battle off of West Virginia’s team since their coaching situation is a mess.

How about this theory, when the picture was taken he was on his “official” visit. What if he literally takes a year off( I don’t think he has a good case for an exemption.) and dose not enroll until next summer. I believe this would be a loophole. He would have to work out on his own, probably move home or move in with a friend somewhere.

It seems odd that he would want to possibly sit out a year at USU and be a walk on before going on scholarship for the season after next.. It seems as though some school would have offered him a scholarship to redshirt this upcoming year if his exemption is not granted.
