He's keeping the cavs in it. Clear star of the game. 7/12 from 3 so far. At the end of the third he was the only cav above +1 in plus minus at +6. He's now up to +15

There has to be some questions from Cav’s fans wondering why he has been sitting in the bench up to this point. That’s a 40% 3 point shooter that’s just been sitting on the bench.

Listened to the Cavs radio broadcast. They love Sam. After his second or third three: “I could watch this kid shoot all day” and “ball barely touches his hand”

Watching Cavs post-game show has basically been an ode to Sam....it's wild. They agree that he has cemented himself into the regular rotation no matter who is playing. Could not be happier for him!

Even the jazz radio feed let the listeners hear Sam's arena interview at the end of the game. David Locke kept referring to him as a former junior jazz player instead of a former Aggie player. That was a little annoying.

Well to be more clear Locke wasn't interviewing Sam. He actually shut his mouth long enough that we could hear the after game interview from the floor that was broadcast over the loudspeakers for the Cleveland fans in the arena. Which I appreciated. From what I can tell, it looks like Nate Williams was the last former Aggie to have such a game in the NBA. His game high was 41 back on April 10 1977. I feel like Sam missed an opportunity to throw his Aggie predecessors a bone and talk about the success they have had playing overseas when asked where guys that grew up where he did go after college.

Not even close to Wayne Estes stats and records, especially considering Estes only played three years and didn't have the benefit of the three-point line.
They're both great players and Sam's 2020 MWC tourney performance was epic, basically willing the team to win in all three games.
