With the exception of Dutcher they are all focusing on job promotions and therefore spend a great deal of time interviewing and negotiating.sam tingey wrote: ↑March 22nd, 2024, 1:24 pmSo why do the mwc teams struggle so badly to score in the tourney?

My "6 ten seeds beating the hell out of each other" theory may have actually been generous. Maybe it was 6 12 seeds beating the hell out of each other?

Yep. This league was way overvalued/ over-hyped this year it would seem. NAR TIL: Jamal Mashburn Sr. has been very successful in business since he finished in the NBA. He owns 34 Outback Steakhouse franchises, 37 Papa Johns franchises, a handful of car dealerships, and is partner in a stable with a Kentucky Derby hopeful.
Given the era he was in the NBA, he may be making more money now than as an NBA player with that kind of business portfolio.

That's a guy that was clever enough and had enough forethought to realize basketball is temporary and planned wisely. Re: MW watch party
Lobos, like CSU yesterday, are doing the classic USU -- playing competitively after digging a big hole you can never get out of.
Glad the Aztecs pulled it out for posterity.

Re: MW watch party
Unless New Mexico turns it around in the 2nd half, USU is last hope left of a team outside of SDSU in MW to advance. So far 9 seeds are 2-0. No pressure.

Re: MW watch party
Bet yet the SEC and big 12 performance will not be forgotten? The MWC actually won 2 games. CSU did beat a 10 seed Virginia. Can anyone explain to me why two 10 seeds played in the play in game and not two 16 seeded teams?Yossarian wrote: ↑March 22nd, 2024, 1:37 pmYep. Re: MW watch party
The last four at-large teams and the four lowest seeded AQ teams are in the play-in games. So that's always two 16 v 16 games, but the seed varies for the at-large play-in games.blueaggie wrote: ↑March 22nd, 2024, 2:16 pmBet yet the SEC and big 12 performance will not be forgotten? Thanks. It makes absolutely no sense. 10 seeds should no be playing a play in game.Zaggie07 wrote: ↑March 22nd, 2024, 2:18 pmThe last four at-large teams and the lowest seeded AQ teams are in the play-in games.blueaggie wrote: ↑March 22nd, 2024, 2:16 pmBet yet the SEC and big 12 performance will not be forgotten?
